Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative members will see a modest increase for electric service during 2022. Effective January 1, 2022, the cost-of-service charge for Residential, Seasonal, Small Commercial and Time of Use (TOU) members will increase by two dollars per month. Large Commercial and Industrial cost-of-service charge will increase by four dollars monthly. For the average residential customer, this equates to an annual increase of approximately 1.6%. The increase is necessary due to the rising costs of materials, labor and equipment. The rates for generation, transmission and distribution will not change. Members can expect to see the changes on their February bills for January usage.
