CLAVERACK 88th ANNUAL MEETING
Monday, July 21, 2025
12:00 PM
Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative will conduct its 88th annual meeting on Monday, July 21, beginning at 12:00 PM. This business-focused meeting will be held at our Wysox headquarters and broadcast online. (The link to join the meeting will be available on this page prior to the meeting.)
During the meeting, you’ll hear reports from your board chair, secretary/treasurer, and CEO. We will share important information about the state of the cooperative and the results of the director elections. You will receive an update on Claverack’s financial health and learn about the strategic direction the cooperative is taking in the coming year. The best part is that you can join us from the comfort of your own location, making it more convenient for members to participate. The online meeting will also be recorded and posted here on our website.
We deeply value member questions and feedback, recognizing them as an integral part of our annual meeting. To ensure everyone's voice is heard, we are collecting questions prior to the meeting. Please submit your questions by emailing them to questions@claverack.com by July 11. We will do our best to address your inquiries during the annual meeting, on our website, or in a future issue of Penn Lines. If you wish to reach us by phone, please call (800) 326-9799 and ask to speak with our executive assistant, Annette Koder.
We’re excited for the opportunity to connect with our members face-to-face at the Wyoming County Fair. All the information about this fun-filled day can be found below:
Registration begins at 2 p.m. under the Claverack tent and continues until 8 p.m. Your Registration Card was included with the annual meeting notice and director election ballot that was mailed to you at the end of June; please remember to bring that with you, as well as proper photo identification. (If you have misplaced your registration card, please bring your photo ID and account number to the registration area.) Each Claverack voting membership registered in our tent on Aug. 27 will receive a $20 electric bill credit and $30 in food coupons, which can be used to purchase food from vendors during fair week.
